50 Cent is set to perform his own stunts in the upcoming “Street Fighter” film, placing him among elite action stars like Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan.

50 Cent is stepping into the ring and onto the big screen as Balrog in the upcoming Street Fighter reboot, and he’s doing it without a stunt double.

The Hip-Hop mogul and actor is preparing to perform his own action sequences, placing him in the same league as Hollywood heavyweights like Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan.

The film, based on Capcom’s legendary video game franchise, is being directed by Kitao Sakurai, known for The Eric Andre Show and Bad Trip.

Jackson’s character, Balrog, is a disgraced boxer turned enforcer for a villain.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he’s currently undergoing intense physical training to prepare for the role.

His decision to do his own stunts mirrors the approach taken by some of the most bankable action stars in film history.

Tom Cruise famously clung to the side of a plane in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and scaled the Burj Khalifa in Ghost Protocol.

Jackie Chan built his career on high-risk stunts without a double, often sustaining injuries in films like Police Story.

Joining Jason Momoa as Blanka, Noah Centineo as Ken, Andrew Koji as Ryu and Callina Liang as Chun-Li, 50 Cent rounds out a cast stacked with action potential.

Orville Peck will play Vega, while WWE’s Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa’i) steps into the role of Akuma.

The Street Fighter franchise originated in arcades in 1987 and gained immense popularity with the release of Street Fighter II in 1991, solidifying its status as one of the most iconic fighting games of all time.

The series has sold over 49 million copies worldwide, according to Capcom.

While the script and release date remain under wraps, filming is scheduled to begin in Australia in August 2025.
