Austrian journalist Anika Steininger says Diddy drugged and assaulted her on the back of a tour bus in 2000, leaving her with PTSD.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new accusation from Austrian journalist Kathi Steininger, who says the Hip-Hop mogul drugged and raped her on his tour bus in Vienna during his European tour in March 2000 when she was 19, according to Austrian outlet PULS 24.
Steininger, a former TV presenter, told the outlet she accepted a drink from Diddy but quickly realized something was wrong.
“There was 100 percent something in it,” she said. “I would never have gone to bed with that man.”
She recalled Diddy “raping” her in the bedroom at the back of the tour bus.
The journalist said she kept the incident to herself for years because she was “deeply ashamed of what happened.”
Steininger explained that she only decided to speak publicly after learning that hundreds of women in the United States had come forward with similar accusations against the music producer.
Steininger said the trauma left her with post-traumatic stress disorder and made it impossible for her to continue working.
Austrian Prosecutors Could Revisit Steininger’s Case If Diddy Convicted In U.S.
She attempted to join a U.S. class-action lawsuit but was told her case couldn’t be included because it occurred outside the country.
She filed a criminal complaint with the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, but the case was closed in June 2025 due to the statute of limitations. Austrian prosecutors informed her that they would only revisit the case if Diddy was convicted in the United States.
“Of course you want some kind of punishment,” Steininger said. “Some kind of punishment for what he did to me.”
Diddy has denied all previous assault allegations and pleaded not guilty to a wide range of federal charges in the U.S., including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transporting individuals for prostitution.
Federal prosecutors say that from 2004 to 2024, Diddy ran a criminal enterprise that trafficked women, coerced them with drugs, and used threats and violence to maintain control.
Prosecutors are pursuing a possible life sentence under RICO laws, citing a pattern of criminal behavior.
The 54-year-old has been in federal custody since his arrest in September 2024.
More than 100 alleged victims have come forward in civil suits, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who settled her lawsuit accusing him of rape, trafficking and a decade of abuse.
