Quez2rr was sentenced to over five years in prison after bringing a stolen machine gun into a hospital labor room.
Quez2rr brought a stolen fully automatic Glock into a Georgia hospital’s delivery room and now the 21-year-old Hip-Hop artist is heading to federal prison for more than five years.
Quez2rr, whose real name is Jaquavious Searcy, was sentenced in June 2025 to 66 months behind bars after pleading guilty to possession of a machine gun, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The weapon—a Glock 17 converted with an auto sear—was discovered under a couch cushion inside a labor and delivery room at Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe on Thursday (August 17, 2023).
A nurse tipped off hospital security after spotting Quez2rr with a firearm. Officers recovered the loaded 9mm pistol, which had a 30-round extended magazine and a device that made it fully automatic.
The gun was also reported stolen.
“This case exemplifies how law enforcement and prosecutors work together to effectively remove illegal firearms and other dangerous, destructive devices from the streets in order to make our communities safer,” said Acting U.S. Attorney C. Shanelle Booker.
Federal investigators later searched Quez2rr’s home in February 2025, where they found multiple illegal firearms and conversion devices.
Some of the weapons were linked to shootings in DeKalb County through ballistic testing, according to prosecutors.
Authorities also traced Quez2rr’s online activity, including Instagram messages and music videos, where he was seen with illegal weapons and accessories on a song called “Traffic,” where he rapped, “I pop out a switch on the back of my Glock” and “I put a switch on the back of my Glock, just to clean up the street when it’s time for that action.”
In one exchange, he received confidential law enforcement information from a Clayton County police officer about active warrants and a homicide investigation.
Quez2rr entered a guilty plea before receiving his sentence in June 2025.
