R. Kelly’s Lawyers Beg Trump for Help
This is like a bad Lifetime series. R. Kelly is looking toward Donald Trump—yes, that Donald Trump—to come to his rescue. YUP! You saw the news story on Tuesday (June 10), but I’m about to double down on this.
Kelly and his legal team claim there’s a wild conspiracy involving corrupt federal prosecutors, jealous exes and shady prison guards. Put a member of the Aryan Brotherhood on top and you have the perfect show. This skinhead (in my imagination, he’s bald) was presented with a proposal to off the singer. And he would be allowed to escape jail. What B.I.G. say? You know that’s not right.
Kelly’s lead attorney, Beau Brindley, is tossing the Hail Mary to frumpy Trumpy. Everybody has seen that he likes helping criminally active Black men, including Lil Wayne, Larry Hoover, A$AP Rocky, Harry-O and Kodak Black. What do you think? Does Kelly have a chance with Trump? I don’t see that he ever helps anybody who has weird charges…like being a political prisoner. But, Kelly has crimes of a sexual nature and that could present a problem.
Do you think it is time for R. Kelly to be released?
Kelly was convicted in New York and Chicago on charges ranging from racketeering to child pornography. He isn’t eligible for release until 2045. That is a strong 20 more years. Something tells me Trump will pass on this. Per his time, this matter is so dire that he shouldn’t be in there another minute. I am thinking they are just raking in the money as he has no shot at getting out.
My recommendation is to get down with the brothers in whatever set you can and hunker down for the long haul.
