Cam’ron revealed he walked out of a potential podcast deal with Diddy after the mogul shifted their meeting from business to partying.
Cam’ron bolted from a potential podcast deal with Diddy after the music mogul shifted the conversation from business to partying during a meeting at his home, the rapper revealed.
Cam’ron said Diddy had expressed interest in signing him and Ma$e’s “It Is What It Is” sports podcast before they secured a deal elsewhere.
But the Harlem rapper said he wasn’t sticking around once the tone of the meeting changed.
“So I had a meeting at his crib to see about the deal,” he wrote on instagram Monday (June 23). “Once the meeting was over he said ‘The party about to start.’
Cam’ron continued, “We got up and aggressively walked out. Bub said ‘let one of these n##### walk our way Killa, the [gun] coming out this bag’ no lol.”
Cam’ron’s post alluded to the ongoing legal scrutiny surrounding Diddy, who is currently at the center of a federal investigation involving multiple allegations, including claims of wild “freak-off” parties that have emerged during the trial.
The former Dipset rapper followed up with a second post after some questioned the truth of his story.
He shared a throwback video of himself and Diddy, writing, “For those in my last post that said I’m [capping].. nahh I don’t just be waking up saying anything for attention. I’m just telling you what happened.”
He added, “WE AINT PARTYING LOL.”
The story comes just days after Cam’ron announced a new multi-million dollar deal with Revolt for his solo podcast, “Talk With Flee!”
Cam’ron celebrated the new partnership with a not-so-subtle jab at Diddy, who founded Revolt but stepped away from the company in 2023 amid mounting legal issues.
“@talkwithflee @revolttv #NoDiddy literally lol,” he wrote. “Time to run it up… this ain’t a run I’m on. It’s a f*cking marathon.”
