Diddy’s federal trial nears its end as jurors prepare to answer a verdict sheet packed with allegations that may send him to prison for life.
Diddy faces a reckoning in a New York federal courtroom where jurors will prepare to dissect five weeks of disturbing testimony and decide if the Hip-Hop mogul ran a criminal enterprise fueled by sex trafficking, violence and coercion.
The verdict form outlines a complex series of questions that go far beyond a simple guilty-or-not decision.
The first count—racketeering conspiracy—asks jurors to determine whether Diddy orchestrated a criminal network involving kidnapping, bribery, drug trafficking and prostitution across multiple states.
If jurors check “guilty” on Count One, they must then specify whether those crimes occurred in California or New York and whether they involved acts like forced labor or witness tampering.
The second and third counts focus on Cassie Ventura, who testified that Diddy trafficked her from 2009 to 2018. Jurors must decide whether he transported her across state lines for commercial sex and whether the relationship was exploitative or consensual.
Counts Four and Five mirror those charges for a second woman, identified only as “Jane,” who alleges abuse and trafficking between 2021 and 2024.
Jurors are being asked to weigh a mountain of evidence, including surveillance footage, financial records and emotional testimony from Ventura, her mother, and former associates.
Makeup artists and escorts described bruises and fear. Two male escorts testified that they were paid to have sex with Ventura while Diddy watched and even played with their ejaculate.
Jurors also heard from rapper Kid Cudi, who claimed Diddy firebombed his car out of jealousy.
The defense has admitted Diddy harmed Cassie Ventura but insists the case is about a toxic relationship, not organized crime. They argue a $20 million settlement he paid after a video showing Diddy beating Cassie was a business decision, not hush money.
Prosecutors disagree. They argue Diddy used intimidation, money and manipulation to control women and silence witnesses.
The trial began on May 12 and closing arguments are expected this week, while deliberations could start shortly after.
A single guilty verdict on any count could carry serious consequences. Diddy is facing anywhere between 10 years in prison and life.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty and remains in federal custody since his arrest in September 2024.
