DVSN has joined Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def and HYBE America as the first signing under the new partnership.
DVSN locked in a multi-album agreement with Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def Recordings and HYBE America, marking the first official signing since Dupri revived the iconic label under a global distribution deal with HYBE.
The R&B duo—comprised of Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85—will now have their creative direction steered by So So Def while HYBE handles international distribution.
Their first single under the new partnership is scheduled to drop later this year.
“After working with the group on their last album and going to their shows, seeing how much their fans love them, and then when I heard they had just become free agents, I had to sign them and make Dvsn my first signing at So So Def/HYBE,” Dupri said in a statement.
DVSN reposted Dupri’s message on Instagram Stories, adding, “4 everyone wondering what’s been going on and where’s the new music…. now you know. its [on the way].”
They followed up with another post quoting Dupri: “he said ‘Just do what Y’ALL so and let me help shine a light on it’” and closed with “The new Chapter.”

Before this new chapter, DVSN was signed to Drake’s OVO Sound in partnership with Warner Records.
They released four studio albums during their time there: Sept. 5th (2016), Morning After (2017), A Muse In Her Feelings (2020) and Working On My Karma (2022).
The So So Def and HYBE alliance is expected to expand the reach of both legacy artists and new signings, such as DVSN, through HYBE’s global infrastructure.
